With TOS being a rare condition, there are currently no legitimate organizations dedicated to raising funds solely for TOS. However, Dr. Robert Thompson runs an internationally recognized high volume TOS center in the U.S. at Washington University School of Medicine which is affiliated with nationally-ranked Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which supports the efforts of the clinical providers at Washington University Physicians. The foundation has a separate fund dedicated to TOS for use by Dr. Thompson in his endeavors to advance TOS diagnosis and treatment as well as raise awareness of TOS. The funds go towards a diverse set of needs such as patient care, research, equipment, education and/or training for TOS which includes mentoring and training surgeons from around the globe. One hundred percent (100%) of all gifts to this fund go directly to supporting TOS. The foundation doesn’t take a cut or any administrative portion ever. Past works of Dr. Thompson in this regard include developing and leading the Consortium for Outcomes Research and Education on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (CORE-TOS) along with other TOS specialists, hosting the first ever national conference dedicated solely to TOS from which came the first ever textbook dedicated to TOS, and countless research projects and publications. If you are interested in donating to help with furthering these efforts, please click the button below:

Share Your Story
There are certain times, particularly during awareness month, where we would like to share the stories of TOS patients who are willing. Stories will be shared either via the social media accounts of TOS Outreach Network such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram or on the TOS Outreach Network website. When stories are shared, the identity of the patient will remain completely anonymous as well as the identities of the medical providers. Please try to limit the length of the story to around three (3) paragraphs. If you would like to submit your story to be shared, please click here to go to our Contact page and submit your story by filling out the contact form or send an email to info@tosoutreach.com using the subject line “Share My Story.”
Awareness Month
The first ever TOS Awareness Month took place in July 2023 sponsored by TOS Outreach Network. This mainly consisted of a large and informative social media campaign involving daily posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This will occur every year during the month of July. To spread the word, we need as many people as possible to follow us on social media and to share the posts to all friends and followers. The more people who are aware of TOS, the easier it will be for sufferers to get a diagnosis and treatment. We would love for you to be a part of this movement! Please use the buttons below to follow us on social media.
